What do I need to have to open an Ice Cream Works parlour?

- A shop with an area of 100-300 sq.ft
- Willingness to invest Rs. 8 to 10 Lakh
- There are options for creating parlours at open spaces as well (Kiosk)

Where will I get supplies/stocks?

Our wholesale dealers will supply you with the entire range of ice cream products at your shop

What kind of returns can I expect from my business?

It has been our experience that franchisees who follow the right practices have been successful. RIO depends on your location and the product mix you are able to sell. Margins are good and you can even recover you can generally recover your investments in less than one year.

I own a store which I am using to sell other products. Can I continue to sell these products if I convert the store to a parlour?

The parlours are meant for selling only Ice Cream Works products as supplied by us and can't be used to sell any other products.

Can the equipment/consumables/ingredients, as required be bought from any local supplier as per your specifications?

No, purchases of all equipment/consumables/ingredients have to be from company approved suppliers.

What is the royalty or commission to be paid to Ice Cream Works?

There is no royalty or commission to be paid. A Franchisee Fee is payable.

How many employees are needed for running a parlour?

Workforce required for an Ice Cream Works parlour is 3-4 individuals.

Will the interior work be done by the company or the franchisee?

Interiors will be done by the franchisee, but as per the company standards.

  • Designs

    We will provide basic interior drawings that includes signage, equipment set up and interiors. This will have to be modified for your location. There is no need to hire an architect.

  • Auditing & Monitoring

    We will have 2-3 visits a year to your outlet where we will conduct audits to ensure you are doing everything possible to increase your sales.

  • Equipment

    We provide a detailed list of all required machinery with a list of suppliers.

  • Festivals

    Artworks and new flavours, shall be provided for 2 - 3 select festivals

  • SOP's

    A detailed list of all standard operating procedures will be provided to you including opening checklists, closing checklists, manager checklist etc.

  • Franchise Service Expert

    You will assigned one expert who will be your main contact person. This person will be available to speak with you and help you through any emergency, problems, issues you may face.

  • Opening Support

    We will extensively support you for the first month of operations.

  • Ice Cream

    All ice cream will be provided by us. A range of flavours will be provided, including specials for festivals and a paisa vasool flavour every month.
